Before your sweep arrives

I am often asked by new customers "what should I do before you arrive?" and "do I need to clear anything away?"

A parking space and a clear path to the fireplace is very welcome

• No fires the night before, please
• Kindly remove all ash and unburnt fuel safely outside
• Clear the hearth and floor space in front of the fire (about 2mtrsx2mtrs)
• No need to lift the rug but if you must please remove it completely away
