As far as possible the way in which we conduct business, ourselves and our style of trading is reflected in this single page document This includes our business philosophy which is to always act in good faith in an honest and fair manner.We recognise the importance of clear communication, the avoidance of conflict of interest and our duty of care to our customers and ask for the same in return.

Chimney Sweeping: We clean your appliance and chimney/flue system using the latest and best practice methods following all relevant industry standards, part of this process is the servicing of solid fuel appliances. Any missing, broken, or defective parts will be reported to you. We can supply replacement parts but prefer you to source and purchase the parts yourself we are happy to return to fit the parts at a later date. Any defects or issues relating to safety and continued use will be listed in the form of a short written report of our observations, sent by email or handwritten on site.This can be used as a record of sweeping/maintenance.

Minor Repairs: We can carry out minor repairs as part of the sweeping and servicing process some repairs are more specialist and not something that we do if we cannot complete the service during the allotted time, we will rearrange at your earliest convenience to return and finish the work.
Chimney Inspections: We carry out informative chimney inspections, outline current legislation and can give advice on any alterations or repairs needed.We will issue a short report outlining the findings of the inspection by E Mail after completion.

Pricing: We stick to a fixed price structure for standard sweeps - should we discover during the sweeping process that there is more to do than a standard sweep we will stop and inform you of such along with our pricing schedule for the additional work (nest/blockage/long neglected flues) You retain the right to decline the additional work required at which point we will stop.It is quicker simpler and less costly for us to carry out a standard sweep and leave than it is to discover unforeseen issues then spending additional time and resources investigating the issue and coming up with a plan of action which we can then present to you We appreciate your understanding that we will charge our original standard sweep fee as part of this process to cover our costs and time.

Payment: Unless agreed beforehand, payment is due on completion of the service by Card transaction.

Cancellation: We understand things happen - we ask you to inform us by person to person telephone call on 01225 483690 as early as possible Less than a full 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of £40. A no show fee of the entire time allotted in our work schedule will be charged if we are unable to gain access to the property upon our arrival and are unable to contact you to confirm you are on the way or for that matter at the address but unaware we are outside.
